EXPERT PANEL

DEEP CLIMATE RESILIENCE FUND

Senator Hwang convened this panel to position Fairfield to go after their share of $10 million in state funds. The deadlines for the funds are coming up November 10th and December 1st, so there isn’t much time.

ACCA made important connections with experts from Audubon and CIRCA who may be able to help us apply for a DEEP Climate Resilience grant to do engineering and sand circulation studies in preparation for larger federal grants in the future. Our Erosion Analysis (2021) and our Master Plan (2012, 2022) provided the scientific base for this next step.

Stay tuned for updates on our grant application.
