We will be conducting our annual Spring Ash Creek clean up at 9 AM on Saturday, April 9, 2011which is low tide. We’ll meet at the driveway at 19 Eames Boulevard. Please wear a long sleeved shirt, long pants, and gloves because of the poison ivy along the banks of Ash Creek. Thank you to Roger Ludwig, Peggy Ianniello, and Martha Turner for organizing this event. Thanks also to Save the Sound for organizing and promoting these clean ups along the shoreline and providing clean up supplies. Thank you to Mary Jane Foster for providing the coffee and d onuts.
Please let us know if you plan to participate. Also, please spread the word to other service groups, such as the Black Rock Rotary Club, boy scouts, schools, Aquaculture School, etc. Ask them to send me an e-mail if they plan to send some of their members to participate.
