Unified Water Study Delayed by COVID-19

Due to COVID-19 concerns, the UWS was delayed from its May start date to June 12 while protocols and indemnification forms were adapted to meet the new safety standards. Last year we used the Aquaculture School boat, captains, teacher, and students along with our own volunteer, Kevin Blagys of KB Services.

This year the Aquaculture School is closed through the summer and won’t be able to participate, but Kevin Blagys has offered the use of his boat and two of the Aquaculture students have already volunteered. We are hoping for a third, as Charlotte will be leaving for college in August and Sienna will need a partner come September. The training for this project is in-depth and it would be hard to start over with new volunteers given the timeframe. Please notice below on a volunteer needed for this study.
